Summer Agenda #2-4 INCOMPLETE

  • Buy swimsuit & wear it to the beach
So beach body was a no-go this summer as it was the last. Maybe I should buy a swimsuit (after all, summer is over which means endless sales!) and use it as motivation? I promised Boyfriend I'd go one day, but food baby and baby weight are sticking around a lot longer then I thought they would :<
  • Pass summer session classes with flying colors
Mmm..yeahno.
  • Waikiki shopping spree
Wanted so badly, but no time or monies ;___; BUUU

But overall, this was the best summer as of yet! ^__^ Dari grew so much within the past 3 months..he became more adventurous and started taking steps which is early for his age (sorry, proud parent speaking..MUST GLOAT)! He started babbling too and I can't get enough of hearing his voice! SO ADORABLE. I also got to spend some much needed time with Boyfriend, but now that he has new job & I have school, we're trying to make things work around each others' schedules. I do love my boys though and can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings to us!!

Summer agenda #1 COMPLETED

I committed to getting my hair dyed professionally by buying a new eyebrow pencil (NYX Auto eyebrow pencil in #EP06 Taupe) and did the deed last Thursday @ Salon Classy since they were the only salon who seemed to provide hair extensions within my price range too. Honestly though, you get what you pay for. I just snipped them all out a few minutes ago because they were ridiculously irritating.

Pro:
  • Did what it was supposed to do and added a significant amount of length and some volume to my hair
Cons:
  • Quality of the extensions was terrible ~ I had numerous split ends even though I used 3 different types of leave in conditioners and it didn't look very natural unless I kept brushing my hair otherwise they'd remain in their straggly bundles
  • Maintenance was a b ~ Blow drying is a no-no and air drying is nearly impossible. The stylist said I'd be able to curl or straighten it as long as I kept everything on low heat, but there was no effect whatsoever
Next time I'll be sticking to clip-ins or at least consult with the other two reputable salons that provide extension services once I save up again -__- And I definitely won't ever get them done in the middle of summer especially when it's so effing humid. I'm really satisfied with the color though! Might even go lighter in a month or so, but will probably buy a home kit instead just to save money and time.

Summer agenda #7

GET FIT! ..In effort to complete SA #3 @__@

So I've been making excuses and putting off losing weight for too long, but today is the day! I started the Fit Test for Insanity and quit halfway through because it's just too ridiculous for my weak self. I'm so out of shape..I'll try again once I settle into my newb routine ;___;

And to improve my body in general, I finally bought Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy and a cell body roller from Don Quijote. Just started using both and of course, no visible results, but hopefully it'll be somewhat noticeable by the end of the month? ..If not, there's always Rodial Tummy Tuck & FatGirlSlim.

Summer agenda #5 COMPLETED!

Mi novio took me to the 50th State Fair for our first official date and it couldn't have been more picture perfect! The weather was nice and there were hardly any lines, even though I wouldn't have mind waiting. We rode most of the scary rides including the Zipper (my first time!) & Pharaoh's Fury and we were disappointed when the ferris wheel broke, but luckily, it started working again right before we were about to leave so we hopped on ^__^ I honestly couldn't have imagined doing anything better and it was nearly impossible for me to stop smiling (unless we were being flung through the air).

He took me to Yanagi Sushi afterward for dinner and it was so yummy! The way to my heart is definitely through my stomach ^__^ Seriously though, throughout my 6 years of relationship experience, not one of my previous boyfriends ever took me to a restaurant as nice as this (well, maybe once, but I ended up paying). In all honesty, all of them combined could never make me feel this happy and special. I'm so in love <3

He even bought me the prettiest roses too! > w < It's the first time any guy has ever gotten me flowers (besides prom). I set them in my living room and now every time I pass by, they remind me of him and I have to look down to hide my smile so that my parents don't think I'm crazy.

Luckiest girl in the world? I think so!

Summer agenda #6 COMPLETED

Before

After
My friend and I were having a conversation about messed up eyebrows and all I remember was her saying, "Yah, but yours aren't TOO bad." I'm not sure if she was referring to the overall shape or what, but it started to get under my skin, so with much pain, I decided to regrow my eyebrows a couple of weeks ago. I felt so gross for not plucking or trimming them especially because I had been meeting with a special someone and didn't want them to see me like that >__< I finally went to get them waxed yesterday @ a small salon in Windward Mall and the whole time the beautician kept saying, "OH MY GAWT! OH MY GAWT! YOU OVAPLOCK! DON DO DAT!!" Man, was that embarrassing.

I was somewhat pleased with the results..still getting used to them just because my eyebrows are normally thinner. I trimmed them once I got home though since I couldn't stand seeing the random strands of thick and thin hair. I also changed the color from mahogany to dark taupe using my old UD Brow Box in Honey Pot & NYX AUTO eyebrow pencil in #EP07 Charcoal:
