Circle lens & lash experience @__@

Ordered my first pair of EOS Max Gold Black circle lens & pack of Diamond Lash Glamorous Eye on April 20th (PAY DAY!!) and paid a little more for expedited shipping (arrived April 25th)! I'm calling this post an experience rather than a review solely because I've never worn contact lens before and had no idea what to expect being the newb that I am.

It took me a good 15 minutes to figure out how to open the bottle (battle scars included)/somehow extract the lens and another 45 minutes to place them in my eye. This is quite embarrassing, but I went on Youtube to watch tutorials and even then, I had the hardest time..I almost gave up thinking that my eyeballs were just too darn small, but I figured out that I need to use multiple fingers to finally get the lens to stick -___-

I couldn't believe how long they were when I first opened the package since they didn't look as extreme in the pictures on the internet. I also noticed that the "spine" is twice as thick as any Ardell Lash..and twice as uncomfortable. These bad boys are HEAVY and I was worried that my lash adhesive was too weak to hold them in place @__@ I'm still kind of paranoid that they'll blow off in the wind someday..

I also took heed of how dry my eyes could possibly get so I bought Rohto Arctic from Don Quijote. I had a slightly red eye one morning, so I figured I've give it a go and it burned my eye like icy hell. What made things worse was that my fan was blowing right at my face ;___; ..Good news is that the redness subsided shortly after.

I wore them for the first time at a work event and I couldn't figure out what bothered me more -- the lens or lash? Maybe a few more drops of liquid mint and a slight trim of the spine will solve my problems? Definitely going to try again though since I kind of like the doll-eyed effect! ^__^
